Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1 March 2026 Last Updated: 28 March 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Tenang Path's website and your enrolment in any of our financial education programmes. By accessing our website or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed. For questions, contact us at legal@{{DOMAIN}}.

1. Definitions

  • "Tenang Path", "we", "us", "our" — the company operating at 29 Persiaran Stonor, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • "Participant", "you", "your" — an individual who registers for or attends a Tenang Path programme.
  • "Programme" — any financial education offering delivered by Tenang Path, including Digital Banking Navigation, Wealth Accumulation Strategy, and Lifetime Financial Wellness.
  • "Session" — an individual in-person meeting forming part of a Programme.
  • "Materials" — workbooks, guides, planning tools, and other documents provided as part of a Programme.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any enrolment confirmation issued by Tenang Path.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, registering for a programme, or making a payment, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or above and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
  • The information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

If you are registering on behalf of another person (for example, a spouse or family member), you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Description of Services

Tenang Path provides in-person financial education programmes in Kuala Lumpur. Our programmes are educational in nature and are designed to improve financial understanding. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or regulated financial planning services. No element of any Tenang Path programme constitutes advice on which you should rely for specific financial decisions.

Programme content is provided in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia at the facilitator's discretion. Session scheduling is subject to availability and may be adjusted with reasonable notice.

4. Enrolment and Registration

Enrolment is confirmed once Tenang Path has received a completed registration and full payment (or an agreed deposit). Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to decline enrolment at our discretion. Where a programme is full, we will offer placement on a waiting list for the next available cohort.

You will receive a written confirmation of enrolment including session dates, times, and any preparation guidance. It is your responsibility to ensure the contact details you provide are accurate and current.

5. Payment Terms

Programme fees are as published at the time of enrolment and are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). All fees include Materials. We accept bank transfer, DuitNow, and major credit or debit cards.

For the Lifetime Financial Wellness Programme, a structured payment arrangement may be discussed with us prior to enrolment. Such arrangements must be agreed in writing before the first session commences. Failure to maintain an agreed payment schedule may result in suspension of access to remaining sessions.

Refunds: Where a participant withdraws more than 14 calendar days before the first session, a refund of 80% of the fee paid will be issued. Withdrawals within 14 days of the first session are not eligible for a refund, though we may offer a credit toward a future cohort at our discretion. Where Tenang Path cancels a programme, a full refund will be issued.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify us as early as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your attendance at an alternative session within the same programme cohort, subject to availability. We cannot offer refunds for individual missed sessions.

Tenang Path reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to public health restrictions, venue unavailability, or insufficient enrolment). Where we reschedule, we will offer alternative dates or, where reasonable, a proportional credit or refund.

7. Participant Conduct

Tenang Path sessions are conducted in a respectful, collegial environment. All participants are expected to:

  • Treat fellow participants and facilitators with courtesy and respect.
  • Refrain from disruptive behaviour, recording sessions without written consent, or sharing other participants' personal disclosures outside of sessions.
  • Refrain from promoting financial products or services to other participants during or after sessions.

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme without refund if their conduct is deemed disruptive or harmful to others.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials provided as part of our programmes — including workbooks, guides, models, and digital documents — are the intellectual property of Tenang Path. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any programme materials without our prior written consent.

The content of this website, including text, design, and graphics, is similarly owned by or licensed to Tenang Path. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

9. Disclaimers

Tenang Path provides educational content only. We do not provide regulated financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Nothing in our programmes or materials should be construed as a recommendation to purchase, sell, or hold any financial product or instrument.

While we take care to ensure our content is accurate and current, financial regulations, products, and market conditions change. We cannot accept responsibility for decisions made on the basis of programme content without independent professional advice where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tenang Path's total liability to you arising from or related to a programme shall not exceed the programme fee you have paid. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses, including loss of income or opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your participation in a Tenang Path programme shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between you and us. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Kuala Lumpur as the seat.

12. Contact and Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or by email to enrolled participants. Continued participation in our programmes after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
